Of course, being already submerged in the computer field since the mid-80s and having built my own blogs for some time, I agreed to give them a hand as it seemed they were clueless about how to begin. Now, I’m not the type of person who likes to keep knowledge to myself, so I decided to work with a friend hand in hand and show them the 3 steps to start a blog from scratch.
Since those early days, technology has significantly improved and become more accessible. You no longer have to know anything about computers and programming to create a blog that people will envy. These days, everyone and their grandmother can share their passion online. Whether you have a product to sell or love to write and express your inner desires with like-minded people, a blog is one of the best ways.
Below, I want to share the 3 Steps To Starting a Blog From Scratch with you. You will find them incredibly easy and quick. Now, without any further ado, let’s begin.
Step 1
You need your own domain name, which will be the web address of your blog. Say, for example, you are an author and want to present all your books on the blog for others to discover and purchase. You may wish to have a domain name related to your author name, such as “JaneSmithBooks.com” or “AuthorJaneSmith.com.”
Once you figure out what you want your domain name to be called, you can visit Host Gator at https://hostgator.com/domains, where you can register the domain name for your new blog for around $10.
Step 2
